Memoria:

El ritmo, elemento omnipresente en la naturaleza. Estamos regulados por la naturaleza y estar en consonancia con ella supone una vía para ser feliz.
Cualquier elemento o situación de la naturaleza lleva consigo un ritmo interior necesario para su existencia.
El ser humano no puede ignorar su vinculación con la naturaleza: el ritmo de la vida humana es el de la naturaleza. El proyecto reúne ritmos que generan  espacios y diversidad en ellos  de una forma tan vital  como la naturaleza.

Hay elementos que influyen de forma positiva en los ancianos, uno de ellos, y en el que fundamento la idea del proyecto es la NATURALEZA.
Está presente entre los ancianos: contemplación del ciclo vital de la naturaleza desde la última etapa de la vida: la vejez. La naturaleza  rodea al edificio, y es vista desde cualquier punto de éste, gracias a las transparencias, y multitud de reflejos, así como a la entrada en el propio edificio, llegando a encontrar así con él las raíces de los elementos naturales.
Desde la residencia existirá el privilegio de contemplar las raíces pasadas de Zamora (Zamora medieval), y sus raíces futuras (vegetación).
En el recorrido tanto interior como exterior bajaremos hasta la cota en que esas raíces se unan (cota más baja del patio de conexión con el camino de la ribera)
Los elementos naturales (la vida) se adentran en el edificio y también en la parcela, constituyendo el parque y el proyecto un único espacio.

Otro elemento que influye en las emociones es el sentido del OLFATO: protagonista en los espacios exteriores del proyecto.
Es nuestro sentido más relegado. Así, la vegetación escogida en el proyecto serán plantas aromáticas, distribuidas a lo largo del patio central, con un total de 11 especies diferentes de plantas aromáticas medicinales, que hagan de cada espacio abarcado por cada aroma, un espacio diferente a los demás, y por lo tanto se consigan diferentes emociones.
